  • Do we meet/interview before a job is booked?

    • That is entirely up to the client.  Some people meet me for the first time when I arrive for their initial job.  Others ask to me​et me prior to hiring PaigeAid. I am fine with either approach, and there is no charge for an introductory meeting.

  • How will I know it is you? Will it always be you?

    • You can see me in several photos on the "about" page of this website.  Additionally, I always wear a PaigeAid shirt. I drive​ a burgundy Ford Explorer with identifying PaigeAid magnets. As of now, all services will be performed by me, Paige Benigno.

 

  • How do I make an appointment, cancel or reschedule?

    • All bookings are handled in person or by phone​ and must be confirmed by me to be valid (i.e., simply leaving me a message or sending an email does not guarantee a booking).  You can call/text to cancel and/or request rescheduling, but this must be done 24 hours in advance or a charge of one hour ($45) will be due.

  • How far in advance must I book?  Can I call you same day?

    • You may know you need help way in advance, or a situation may arise last minute. I may or may not be available, but you can contact me at any time to address your job! The purpose of PaigeAid is to alleviate clients' stress and make their lives easier​, and this is not typically something that can be done on a set schedule.

  • How will I know that you spend the time on my task for which you charge me?

    • Sometimes you may hire PaigeAid for a defined number of hours; then you will know. But more often you will hire for a job, and then unless we work together, you won't be sure. I will try to give an estimate of time needed, but this is truly a "trust" business. I work independently, so you must feel comfortable with me and believe that I will be honest in my dealings with you. I take great pride in my reputation, and I bill for time spent, but if for any reason you feel uncertain about PaigeAid, then it is not the service for you, and I completely understand.​​​

  • Are you insured?

    • Yes I carry a Business Owner's Policy with Chubb Ltd., 130 years in business, the largest publicly-traded property/casualty company in the world, and ranked AA by Standard & Poor's.  This policy protects me, my business, and PaigeAid clients.​  Beware: many service providers are insufficiently insured or not insured at all!

  • Do I need to provide anything?

    • I am an independent contractor so you need not pay anything other than the cost of my services and for any payments I make on your behalf (no FICA requirements). I will use my own car for most work. You would only need to give me any items associated with a task you want completed.​​​

  • Will you babysit?

    • While it is not a major part of PaigeAid, yes I will provide simple childcare or eldercare​ at my normal rates. Staying overnight with children or seniors is a service I also offer.

  • Is there anything you will not do?

    • Well of course I am not a contractor, landscaper, accountant or nurse!​ But as far as general help and tasks go, I won't do what I call the "Three C's": cooking, cleaning and chauffeuring. Regarding the last one, I cannot drive any clients in my own car. I do not carry the extensive commercial auto insurance required to transport people. HOWEVER, I do frequently drive clients in THEIR OWN car.

  • When are you available?

  • Do you offer gift certificates?

    • Yes, gift certificates are issued for any number of hours desired and must be used within six months.​ Contact me to purchase a gift certificate to be delivered by email or mail.

  • Are there other special services you can provide which might not be obvious?

    • I always say, "No matter the task, just call and ask!​"...but the simple answer is, YES! And I am always adding to this list---I like varied work!

      • I cannot drive clients, but I CAN drive clients' cars!  I can take your car for inspection, to be washed/detailed, to have a hitch installed, etc.

      • I am an amateur sports photographer and can be hired to photograph an individual athlete or team. I can provide photos on a thumb drive or create a slideshow like the examples below:​

      • I do data entry and organization using Word, Excel and Numbers. I am a strong writer, proofreader, and formatter. I can create documents as needed.

      • I have excellent research skills and can do groundwork on travel, event planning, activities, or other topics, producing user-friendly results for my clients.

      • I can provide general property oversight, beyond pet and plant care. If you are going away but do not need full house-sitting, I can check in daily, make sure all is well, change lighting, bring in mail and garbage cans, etc. I can stock refrigerator and pantry for your return. I will meet other service providers coming while you are gone.

  • Can you provide references?

    • Ye​s I am happy to furnish references if you ask.
